Description

California, Ackerman Campground is a lakeside facility thats a favorite of fishermen. It is located in the beautiful Trinity Lake/Weaverville Area of Shasta-Trinity National Forest, which is part of the Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation.

Direction:

From Weaverville, take Highway 3 north for 7 miles. Turn right on Rush Creek Road for 9 miles. Turn left on Trinity Dam Boulevard for 7.5 miles.

Comment

Ackerman Campground North loop is open year round with tent and RV camp spots.  Entire campground and dump station open April 1 thru Oct. 31st.  The campgrounds elevation is 2000 feet.  There are 51 camp spots.  The maximum RV's length is 40 feet.
