Description

New Mexico, Apache Campground Lincoln National Forest.  The campground does not have an address however, the Campbase map provided here is accurate for the campgrounds location.

Direction:
Travel east on US82 from Cloudcroft, turn left onto NM244. Approximately 4 miles turn right at the Silver-Saddle-Apache Campground Complex sign (Forest Road 24C).

Comment

Apache Campground offers 25 sites. Mixed conifer/aspen forest sites at 8,900' provide southern NM escape from summer heat on the desert floor. Tables, fire rings, parking spurs, gray water sumps, toilets, central garbage depository, plus interpretive trails. 24 family units spaced far apart. Tents are allowed and RVs limited to a maximum of 30' in length.

Open and closed dates are subject to change due to weather and other conditions.  Generally open from May through September.
