Description

North Carolina, Arrowhead Campground in Uwharrie National Forest, lies in the Badin Lake Recreation Area, a hub for outdoor activities in central North Carolinas Uwharrie National Forest. The variety of sites in the campground offer a comfortable stay for both RV and tent campers.

Direction:
From Troy, North Carolina, take State Highway 109 north for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mullinix Road (County Highway 1154), and travel approximately 1.5 miles to a stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, and go approximately 2 miles to another stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn left and travel about 2 miles, following the signs to the campground.

Arrowhead Campground has 48 sites for Tent/RV camping and is open all year. Sites #46-#49 are tent only. All sites are accessible to people with disabilities. Each site has a table, grill, fire ring, lantern post and camping pad. The campground has 6 spigots located around the campground for drinking water. A bathhouse with flush toilets, hot showers, and laundry sink is available. There is a family restroom located at the front of the bathhouse if privacy is desired. A 0.75-mile paved bicycle/walking path loops around the campground. The fee-station is located at the entrance to the campground. There is a dump station located across from the pay station. Payment can be made by cash or check: make checks out to the USDA Forest Service.
