Direction:

Located approximately 6 miles north of the Ortega Highway (Highway 74) and on the North Main Divide Road.  The Campbase map provided here is accurate for the location of the campground.

Comment

Blue Jay Campground is open all year with RV and tent sites available.  Maximum RV length is 20 feet.  The campground is six miles down a narrow, paved, one lane highway.  Most camp spots have shade trees.  The camp road is paved, parking pads are crushed rock.  Vault toilets are available.  The campground is located at 3,400 feet and can get snow during the winter.

Twentyfive miles to the south of the campground on Ortega Highway is the San Juan Mission.  In addition to the mission there are shops and restaurants to visit.
