Description

Arizona, Cattail Cove State Park is located on the south end of Lake Havasu near Parker Dam in a secluded area.  The campground has easy access from Highway-95.
 
Directions:
 
Head south of Lake Havasu city on Highway 95.  Proceed 15 mi.  Turn right into the campground on Lake Shore Blvd.  Proceed to the park entrance.

Cattail Cove State Park Campground is open all year with 61 RV or tent camp spots.  32 of those are exclusively RV spots.  A few spots have full hookups but, most have electric and water connections.  Long term camping is available at this location.  The campground has restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and fire rings.  Camp spots are not on the water but, all spots do have Lake Havasu access.  Most camp spots have shade trees.  Camp roads are all paved.  There is also a public beach and boat launch available.  Reservations are available through the Arizona State Parks website.  Un-reserved sites are sold on a first come first serve basis. Potable water is located in the campground. Fires are allowed in the fire rings at each site from October to April.   Maximum RV length at this park is 40 feet.  A dump station with RV drinking water is is also located in the campground.  Pets are allowed but, must be on a six foot leash.  Pets are not allowed on the beach. 

There ae 32 boat-in camp sites available.  These sites are primitive with a picnic table.  All boat-in sites are first-come, first-served. 

The city of Parker is located 20 miles south of the park.  Water sports rentals, restaurants, lodging, fuel, laundry, golf course, and Casinos are all available there.
