Comment

Located right on the beach with some spots touching the sand.  Nice campground with shrubs, bushes and trees.  Some spots have shade.  The Dana Point Marina is less than a mile away with numerous palces to eat and shop.  There is a boat launch at the marina.  The park has 122 developed group and family sites.  Hookups, water and ceptic are NOT available.  Sites have a fire ring, picnic table and paved parking spot.  There are great bike riding opportunities with road bike riding on Pacific Coast Highway or mountain biking along the beach south through San clemente.  The park does have a dump station.  Maximum RV length is 35 feet.

The park has a large beach and grass area with picnic tables and areas for groups.  There is also a large concession stand on the main beach.  See the pictures under the picture tab above.  Its also a great park to escape the heat inland durring the summer.

Certain times of year there are whale watching boats that leave from the Dana Point Marina.  There are also day fishing boats that leave from the marina.

Firewood is available at the park entrance.  See the Photos Tab.
