Description

California, Ironwoods Resort is located inside the Anza Borrego Desert State Park.

Directions:

From the small town of Ocotillo Wells on Highway 78, go west on Highway 78 for approximately 4 miles.  The campground entrance will be on the left side of the highway.

Ironwoods Resort has 145 RV and tent campsites available.  A motel is also available.  The resort is located across the street from the Anza-Borrego Off-Road State Park.  Ocotillo Wells SVRA can also be accessed.  The resort has both extended stay and daily RV spots.  The primary tenant focus is for monthly and seasonal site rentals.  The resort is located in an arid desert setting.  Winter is the busy session for this resort.  The summer heat drives most RVers out of the area.  The resort does have a campground store where ice is available.  

There are no fire rings, no picnic tables, no shade, no WiFi, and no cable TV.  Most cell phones have service from the campground.  Fuel is not available near the campground, bring all you will need.  The closest fuel to this location can be found 15 miles away in Borrego Springs.  There are additional small markets in Ocotillo Wells that provide the essentials and are not always open.  Off-road equipment rentals are available in Ocotillo Wells.  See the picture in our photos tab section for equipment and rates at "The Quad Stop".
