Description

Kaweah Oaks Campground is located four miles outside the southwest entrance to Sequoia National Park.  The campground has bicycle and walk-in camp spots only.
 
Directins:
 
Southbound on Highway-198 from the Southern entrance to Sequoia National Park, travel approximately four miles south on Highway-198 to the small town of Three Rivers.  The campground will be on the left side.
 
Northbound on Highway-198 from Visalia, travel Northeast for approximately 25 miles.  The campground will be on the right side of the highway in the small town to Three Rivers.

Comment

Kaweah Oaks Campground is a family owned and operated tent campground created to cater to the bicyclist who visits the area.  The 12 campsite oasis is conveniently located along the scenic Highway 198 and only four miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park.  Also located on the Sierra Cascade Bicycle Route.  RV's can not be accommodated, tenting only.  This is bicycle tent camping at its best.  It's an in-town campground being located in the small town of Three Rivers where you will find restaurants, markets, shops, and fuel near the campground.  Click here for a quick video walk-through of the campground.  Each camp spot is well shaded and private. 
 
Local Recreation:
 
The entrance to Sequoia National Park(SNP) is just four miles to the Northeast of the campground.  The park has numerous large Sequoia tree groves to visit.
 
Crystal Cave is located inside Sequoia National Park.  Cave tours cost $16 per person and can be arranged at the parks visitors center.  A limited number of passes are available. 
 
Across the highway from the campground is the Kaweah River where you will find fishing, rafting, and tubing.
