Maine, Moose River Campground 

Directions:

From the town of Rockwood on Highway-6, go west on Highway-6.  After approximately 2.5 miles, the campground entrance will be on the right side along the river.

Comment

Moose River Campground does not have a web site.  The campground has approximately 20 RV or tent camp spots located right on the Moose River.  The Moose River empties into Moosehead Lake with access from the campground.  The campground has a boat launch and a boat dock available.  Full hookups are available.  The campground is a bit remote and there are not many services available nearby.  Most services including fuel are available in Greenville.  Greenville is approximately 10 miles away.

Fishing, kayaking, and boating are popular from this campground.
