Description

Arizona, Oak Creek Mobilodge is located just one mile south of Uptown Sedona.  For large RV's, the best way to enter Sedona is from the south at the intersection of Interstate-17 and Highway 179.  Other highways are winding and may not be well suited for larger RV's.

Directions:

From the intersection of Interstate-17 and Highway 179(The Red Rock Scenic Byway) head north on Highway 179.  Travel 13 miles north into the town of Sedona.  The campground will be on the left side approximately one mile before Uptown Sedona.  The campground sign is small.  Look for the old carriage.  Please see it under the picture tab.

Please see the Campbase map tab for the exact location.

Oak Creek Mobilodge is open all year with approximately 20 RV only camp spots.  Big rigs up to 38 feet can be accommodated.  Mobile homes are also available for rent at this location. 10 nightly camp spots are pull through with full hookups.  The park is one of the closest campgrounds to the downtown Sedona area.  It’s within an easy walking distance to downtown or just take the convenient shuttle that stops at the parks entrance.  Either way, you are going to have fun.  Tenting is not available.

Note:  Campbase took these pictures during the winter months when all the trees in the park had lost their leaves.  The park does have numerous shade trees.

Local Recreation:

Mountain biking is extremely popular from this location.  It’s just a short peddle into the backcountry from the park.

Oak Creek River runs through the park.  Swimming, tubing, and fishing are regular activities on the river.

Sedona has a great night life with restaurants and bars available nearby.  The local area also has casinos and wineries.  Quite a bit of fun actually.
