Directions:

The campground is at the Petrified Forest Gift Shop.  This is a private gift shop and not part of the national park.   Located at the Petrified Forest National Parks southern exit/entrance the campground is at the intersection of Petrified Forest Road and Highway 180.

Petrified Forest Gift Shop Campground is a free campground located at the Petrified Forest Gift Shop.  The campground is open all year with approximately 10 camp spots.  Please check with the gift shop before parking in the camp spots.  The gift shop usually closes around 5 P.M.  Water and power are available.

The Petrified Forest National Park does not have a campgrond so, this might be a good option.  The next closest campgrounds are 20 miles away in Holbrook.
