The campground is on the beach close to the pier.  The pier, downtown, and shops are approximately a five block walk from this campground.  It's the closest campground to the downtown area.  It's an easy walk, about half a mile.  To actually access the beach you will need to walk around a marsh area between the campground and the beach.  It is a bit of a hike but, well worth it.  This is a large RV campground with a total of 400 full hookup sites.  The maximum RV length is 40'.  The Internet access on this site is free and had very fast access times.  There is RV storage at this location and they will also put the RV on the campsite for you.  It appeared to be a good service.

Off-roaders don't generally use this campground because it's up the beach from the sand dunes and off-roading.  ATV riding in this park is not permitted.  There is no ATV access to the beach from this location.  However, one mile south at the Pismo State Beach Recreation Area there is off-roading and ATV rentals are available.  Please see the ads to the right of the page.

Fire wood and ice are available at the campground store.

There is no tenting in this campground.

Monarch Butterfly Grove:  In the fall the Monarch Butterflies arrive in the area.  There is a protected butterfly area within walking distance from the campground.  They are quite interesting to watch.

The Pismo Coast Village Grill is also located inside the campground.  They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. The staff at the restaurant do a really good job taking care of their customers.

Sky River RV is located across the road from the RV park in case you need a service or parts.  See the picture link on the right side of the page.
