Comment

Potlatch State Park Campground is open all year however, some sites do close for the winter months.  The campground has a total of 93 RV or tent camp spots available.  Campground roads and parking pads are all crushed rock.  Most spots have a picnic table, Fire ring, and large shade tree.  Big rigs to approximately 50 feet can be accommodated in some spots however, access roads may have low hanging branches.  The park has beach access across Highway-101.  Use caution when crossing the highway due to a winding road.  Always cross at the pedestrian crosswalk light.  Beach views are simply spectacular.  See our photos tab for a few pictures of the beach.  Sites 20 through 27 are tent sites only.  All other camp spots are RV or tent.  Reservations are available through the Web site link provided here.  Sites not reserved are first-come, first-served.  There may be mosquitos depending on the time of year, make sure you are prepared for them.

Local Recreation:

Clamming and oyster harvesting are popular at this location along with Kayaking and beachcombing.  The parks beach is quite nice with picnic tables and shade trees near the shoreline.  Please see the Campbase photos tab for a few beach pictures.

Entrances into the West side of the Olympic National Park can be found nearby.
