Description

California, Prosser Ranch Group Campground, Lake Tahoe Natinal Forest.  Located at Prosser Creek Reservoir. 

Directions:

From Truckee, take Interstate 80 to Highway 89.  On Highway 89 travel north for about 5 miles.  Look for the Prosser sign on the right side of the highway.  Turn in there, continue just over a mile to the campground, there will be another campground sign.  It's located near the boat launch ramp.

Prosser Ranch Group Campground has one group camp site only. Group tenting only, RV parking is not available.  However there is a large parking lot near the group campground.  Up to 50 people can be accommodated.  A restroom, drinking water, picnic tables and fire rings are available.  The camping area has numerous shade trees.  The campground is in a remote area with no services nearby.  The closest services are located in Truckee, approximately 10 miles away.
