Description

Oregon, Riley Ranch Campground is located six miles north of North Bend, Oregon on Highway-101.  The campground has easy access from Highway-101. 

Directions:

From the town of North Bend, Oregon on Highway-101.  Proceed North on Highway-101 for approximately six miles.  The campground entrance will be on the left side.

Riley Ranch Campground is open all year with RV and tent camp spots.  Reservations are available at the parks web site provided here.  An overflow camping area is available should the campground be full.  Approximately 92 camp spots are available.  The campground has restrooms with showers.  The campground has direct lake and sand dune access.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated.  The primary activity from this campground is off-roading into the Oregon Sand Dunes.  Services are available in North Bend, six miles to the South on Highway-101.  

This campground does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hatinsect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location. 

Local Recreation:

Off-roading in the Oregon Sand Dunes National Recreation Area.  The park has access into the dunes.

Fishing and kayaking on Butterfield Lake are popular from this location.  The lake is adjacent to the campground with direct access.  

The Mill Casino is located just six miles to the south of the campground.  It's an upscale casino with nearly 800 slot machines.
