Description

Utah, Sand Hollow State Park has two campgrounds.  The West Side Campground and the Sand Pit Campground.  Primitive camping areas are also available.

Directions:

From I-15, take the Hurricane exit (Exit 16). Travel east on Hwy 9 for about four miles to Sand Hollow Road and turn right. Travel south for about three miles and turn left at the park entrance.

Sand Hollow State Park is one of those state parks that just seems to have everything.  There is camping, boating, and off-roading.  Sand Hollow State Park has two large campgrounds.  The West Side Campground and the Sand Pit Campground.  The West Side Campground is designated for RV camping and has full hookups, paved pads, and paved camp roads.  The Sand Pit Campground has hookups and is better suited for off-road activities being located near sand dunes and the off-road area.  Sand Pit is the OHV campground.  There are a total of 30 camp spots at Sand Pit Campground.  In addition, primitive camping areas are available around the lake.  The park has a restaurant, market, boat launch, and ATV rental available.  Across from the park is a golf course.  

Whip flags are required for all off-road vehicles.
