Directions:
Take the Maine Turnpike Route 95 to Exit 19.
Turn RIGHT (West) onto SR-109 [SR-9] (9.5 mi).
Turn LEFT (South) onto SR-4 [Country Club Rd] (0.8 mi).
Turn RIGHT (West) onto Country Club Rd 2 (0.4 mi).
Bear RIGHT (South-West) onto Sand Pond Rd (0.6 mi).

Sandpond Family Campground is seasonal opening in May and closing in October. The campground has approximately 70 RV and tent camp spots. Some camp spots are on the pond.
Depending on the time of year, many areas in Maine may have ticks, bees, and mosquitos. Due to the potential problems posed by these insects it's best to arrive prepared should these insects become a nuisance.
