Description

California, Stillwater Cove Regional Park Campground.  The campgrounds entrance is located on Highway 1 with easy access.  There is also a large parking lot for day use located here.

Directions:

The Campground is located approximately 15 miles north of the small town of Jenner on Highway-1.  It's also approximately 5 miles north of Fort Ross State Park.  North bound, it will be on the right side of the highway.

Comment

Stillwater Cove Regional Park Campground has 20 RV or tent camp spots available.  One hiker/biker site is also available.  There are no services near the campground.  Firewood is usually available but bring everything else with you.  The campground has a reservation status board where you can check for sites that are and are not reserved.  Please see the photos tab for a picture.  Reservations can be made at the Sonoma County web site provided here.  Other Camp spots are first come first served.  The campground does have a Camp host.  Camp spots are all well groomed in a lush forested setting.  stockhoff Creek runs past the campground.  Ocean and beach access are available but are on the other side of Highway-1.  
 
Local Recreation:
 
Fort Ross State Historic Park is located just 5 miles south on Highway-1.  It's a great spot for information about early California history.
 
The campground has Beach access so it's a great spot for kayaking, beachcombing, photography, or ocean fishing.  It's an especially good location for photography.
