Description

California, Three Rivers Hideaway RV Park and Campground.  The campground has easy access from Highway-198.  It's also the closest campground to the southern entrance of Sequoia National Park.  It's located just 2 miles south of the entrance.  

Directions:

From downtown Three Rivers proceed north on Highway-198.  After approximately one mile, look for the campground entrance sign on the left side of the highway.  

Note:  Highway 198 passing the campground has road vehicle length restrictions starting at Potwisha Campground in Sequoia National Park just a few,miles past the campground.  So if you are driving a big rig, this may be your best option.

Three Rivers Hideaway RV Park and Campground is open all year with 57 RV and tent camp spots.  Cabins are also available.  Big rigs up to rigs up to 60 feet can be accommodated in mostly shaded camp spots.  River access for kayaking and rafting is available in the campground.  Use caution, the river flow may be fast.  Camp roads are crushed rock.  Restrooms with showers and a laundry room are available.  It's a centrally located park with easy access to the Kaweah River, Kaweah Lake, and Sequoia National Park.  The campground is located in the small town of Three Rivers where you will find fuel, markets, restaurants, and a candy shop.

Local Recreation:

Kaweah River rafting is available right at the campground.

The southern entrance to Sequoia National Park is located just two miles up the highway.  The park has large sequoia trees to view including the Sherman Tree.  The park also has Crystal Cave.  Cave tours are $16 per person.  Tickets are available just up the highway at the parks visitors center.  Tickets are also available online at www.nps.gov.

Kaweah Lake is located just four miles south of the campground on Highway-198.  The lake has a marina and launch ramp.  Boating, fishing and water sports are popular activities on the lake.
