Voyager RV Resort is a Thousand Trails Resort near Tucson, Arizona.  The resort is open all year with 1576 RV only camp spots, no tenting.  Park model rental cabins are available.  There is also a Hotel/Inn for those friends that don't camp.   The resort has extended stay mobile homes along with the RV camp spots.  Day to day rates are available.    There are not a lot of services near the resort because it's in a rural area.  This is a large resort with numerous services and amenities.  There is a bar, grill, market, pool, golf, and much more, all inside the resorts gates.  Most camp spots do not have shade because this is a desert area.  The resort has full hookups and pull through camp spots along with paved camp roads.  The prime season is October through April.  Extreme summer tempratures tend to drive most RVers out of this area.  

No fire rings, limited shade. 

Local Recreation:

The Pima Air and Space Museum is one of those must-see museums.  It's located at 6000 E. Valencia Blve. Tucson.  (520) 574-0462.  Www.pimaair.org.   The Pima Air and Space Museum also offers exclusive bus tours of the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARG), also known as the "Boneyard." The AMAGR is located adjacent to the Museum.  Bus tours of the facility are available on a "first come first serve" basis.  The tour bus boards at the Museum entrance.

The Loop bike trail circles Tucson and is a good way to get around by bike.  It's a bike and walk trail.  Here is a link to The Loop.

Old Tuscon is an old west town where movies are made.  There is an old town street with restaurants and shops.  There are Can Can shows, gunfights, western cultural exhibits and more.  Www.oldtucson.com.  (520) 883-0100.  201 S Kinney Rd. Tucson, AZ  85735.  

Saguaro National Park is great for hiking and wildlife viewing.  They don't have any campgrounds so its best if you stay at this resort.  Here is a link to the national parks web site:  https://www.nps.gov/sagu/index.htm
