Wild Acres is a really nice family campground with cabins, tenting, and RV sites.  This is a large campground with approximately 500 camp spots.  It's located just a short two miles from Old Orchard Beach and the downtown area.  There is a shuttle bus that takes campers to points of interest in the area.  Restaurants, shops, fuel, and markets are all nearby.  The campground has paved camp roads and every spot has shade trees.

Note:  Depending on the time of year, many areas in Maine may have ticks, bees, and mosquitos.  Due to the potential problems posed by these insects it's best to arrive prepared should these insects become a nuisance.  Campbase recommends screen enclosures, repellants, bug zappers, and mesh net hats.  Please click these links to see our recommended items.
