California, Inn Town Campground

Directions:

Northbound on Highway-49, approaching Nevada City.  Take the Gold Flat Road exit.  Go right off the exit and take a quick left onto Hollow Way. Proceed on Hollow Way Northbound for just a block or so.  Take a right onto Bost Avenue and then look for Kidder Ct on the left side in a block or so. Kidder Ct leads into the campground.

Inn Town Campground is open all year with 18 RV, 30 tent, and 20 glamping tent sites.  A yurt is also available.  The campground is located at 2,300 feet in a large pine forest.  This is a non-wood burning campground.  The office has propane and firerings available for rent.  Big rigs up to 45 feet can be accommodated with full hookups in the park.  Camp roads and parking pads are crushed rock.  RV sites have full hookups.  A dump station and clean RV water is available near the parks entrance.  The park has multiple clean restrooms with showers.  There is a pool and a large board game to keep the kids busy.  Inn Town Campground is in the perfect location for touring the area due to its close proxcimity to local recreation.  See our Local Recreation below.  The facilites are well maintained and clean.  Campbase recommends this campground because of the excellent facilites for every style of camping(RV, Tent, Clamp) and for closeness of local recreation in the area.  It will be a great stay.

Local Recreation:

The Nevada Narrow Gauge Museum is located at the front of the campground.  Walk outside the front gates and you are there.  The museum is very interesting and there are train rides available on a regular schedule.
