Legion Lake Campground is centrally located in Custer State Park off US Highway 16A, across from Legion Lake and the Legion Lake Lodge.

Legion Lake Campground, Custer State Park.  This campground is seasonal.  Open: May 17 - Sept.30

There are 26 RV and tent spots at this location.  Electric hookups only are available.  There is a restroom with drinking water available.  Tents are not allowed in many of the spots.  The campground road is paved.  Shade is limited in the campground. The lake does not have a Boat Launch Area (best for small non-motorized boats).  The lake is just across the road from the campground within walking distance.
