Directions:

From the WEST on I-10:

1. Drive south past Palm Springs to Exit 139.
2. Take the exit on Jefferson Street. Continue south on Jefferson. You'll cross Highway 111 (Home Depot is a landmark on your right)
3. Continue 1 mile to Avenue 48. Turn left on Avenue 48 and continue approximately 1/2 mile. Look for a turn lane and the entrance to Outdoor Resort Indio.

If you are coming from the EAST on I-10:

1. Exit 146 onto Dillon Road toward CA-86.
2. Continue on Dillon Road over the railroad overpass and turn left onto Avenue 48.
3. Continue about 4 miles on Avenue 48.
4. After you cross Madison, continue straight.

Outdoor Resort Indio is on the corner of Avenue 48 and Shields, and the entrance is a couple hundred yards on your right.

Big rig tip: Both options are big rig friendly with wide lanes and 50 MPH speeds. There are truck stops at Dillon Road (Exit 146), which are convenient for topping off either before arriving or after departing ORI. After pulling into the main entrance, look for the pull-through parking lot on your right next to the Resort office.

Outdoor Resort Indio boasts a landscape that beautifully weaves through a superbly manicured 18-hole golf course with rippling ponds, cascading waterfalls, and a rainbow of flowers intermingled with 419 unique motorcoach residential spaces. Each architectural build reflects a vision of function and design, creating spaces that elevate the overall living experience of Outdoor Resort Indio owners and renters.  Most services including banks and markets are located within a short drive from the resort.  Cell service is generally good in the area for most carriers. The resort does not have fire rings, no wood burning.  This is a desert resort and shaded spots in the resort are limited.  Campbase recommends visiting this desert location in the fall, winter, or spring.  Summer tempratures can be in the 100's.  Up to two pets are allowed per camper.
