Directions
Located on the western side of Custer State Park along US Highway 16A, 4 miles east of the town of Custer.  Traveling Eastbound from Custer, look for the park on the right side of the highway.

Stockade North Campground, Custer State Park.  Open May 17 - Sept. 30.  There are 43 campsites and no cabins.
 
Reservations are available one year in advance at www.campsd.com or call 800-710-2267.
 
The campground can accommodate mid size RV's.  Some tent pads are available at some sites.  Some sites have electric hookups. 
 
The campground is located near the shore of Stockade Lake.
 
Important Note:  There are six tunnels on major roads near Custer State Park.  Some of these tunnels have low clearances.  The lowest is 10'7".  The Custer State Park map under this link has tunnel locations and tunnel heights.
 
Purchase firewood at the Custer State Park's resort areas or convenience stores. Out of state firewood may not be brought into the park.
