Lake Easton State Park has 90 standard campsites and 45 full-hookup sites, two hiker / biker sites, one dump station, four restrooms (three ADA), and four showers (two ADA). All sites are in a wooded setting. Most tent sites are near the Yakima River, and most RV spaces are near Lake Easton. Tents must be placed within the designated tent pad. The park can accommodate RV units up to 60 feet in select sites. Some sites will accommodate tip-outs.  Cell service from the campground was adequate.  Lake Easton has a small launch ramp(see our pictures tab) that can accommodate small boats.

Lake Easton's campgrounds are set on the north side of the park close to Interstate 90. As such, they are subject to highway noise. Campbase did not find the freeway noise to be an issue.

During the spring and fall camp spots are first-come, first-served.   Pick an available/open site, occupy the site, and call the registration number to book it.  (888) 226-7688.

Winter camping is available in the day-use area from Dec. 1 through March 31 for $12. A Sno-Park Permit is also required to camp during the winter.

The Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail runs through the campground with miles of biking and hiking available.  Sometimes called the John Wayne trail or the Iron Horse trail.  Its a converted rail line that is now a walking/bike trail that runs over 100 miles.  You can see a few pictures of the trail at the bottom of the photos list.  This campground is just adjacent to the trail and a good place to stay while riding the trail.  Approximately 18 miles to the West on the trail you will find the Snoqualmie Tunnel that extends for 2.3 miles.  Its a great ride or walk.  Its cold inside the tunnel so bring a light and a jacket.  The tunnel is a 40 mile round trip from this campground.  Campbase did this ride on a mountain bike and it was well worth the time.
