Comment

Lake Easton RV Resort has approximately 150 RV, tent, and cabin camp spots.  The park has access to Lake Easton and Lake Easton State Park through a public access gate.  Camp roads and parking pads are all crushed rock.  There is some dust from the camp roads not being paved.  Most spots are shaded.  There were two restrooms with showers available.  Proppane bottle service was also available.  There is also a pool and clubhouse.  Most sites were full hookup, pull through sites.  There is some freeway noise.  There is no WiFi or Air TV available.  Cellular service was good from this location.  They call it a resort but, its more like a campground.

Things to Do:

This resort is where Campbase stayed while riding the Palouse to Cascades rail trail.  Sometimes called the John Wayne trail or the Iron Horse trail.  Its a converted rail line that is now a walking/bike trail that runs over 100 miles.  You can see a few pictures of the trail at the bottom of the photos list.  This campground is just adjacent to the trail and a good place to stay while riding the trail.  Approximately 18 miles to the West on the trail you will find the Snoqualmie Tunnel that extends for 2.3 miles.  Its a great ride or walk.  Its cold inside the tunnel so bring a light and a jacket.  The tunnel is a 40 mile round trip from this campground.  Campbase did this ride on a mountain bike and it was well worth the time.

Lake Easton is just a short walk outside this resort.  Its a great spot for fishing or swimming.
