Texas, Amarillo KOA.

Directions:

On Interstate-40, on the East side of Amarillo, TRAVELING EASTBOUND, take Exit 75.  Its also called S Lakeside Drive exit.  Go left under the freeway.  Travel Northbound on Lakeside for just over a mile to Amarillo Blvd.  Go right on Amarillo Blvd.  Travel Eastbound for half a mile and take a right onto Folsom Road.  Travel Southbound on Folsome for just a few blocks and rhe park will be on the left side.

Amarillo KOA is open all year with 100 RV and tent camp spots.  Camp cabins are also available.  Most RV spots are pull through sites that can accommodate RV's up to approximately 60 feet.  Camp roads and parking pads are all crushed rock.  Full hookups and cable TV are available.  Each site has a picnic table but no fire ring.  The park has a small camp store with most of the essentials including ice.  The park is approximately two miles off interstate-40.  Several fuel stations are located at interstate-40 including a Loves Travel Stop.  Campbase enjoyed the stay at this location.
