American River Resort has camping cabins, glamping tents, camp sites, and RV trailer rentals.  The park has approximately 100 RV camp spots available located on the banks of the American River.  Large RVs up to 40 feet can be accommodated.  Camp spots for large  groups up to 50 people are available(see our photos tab).  The campground is on a small hill but, camp spots are all level.  Clean restrooms with showers were available to campers.  Full hookup sites has 30 Amp service, water and sewer connections.  Cell service was poor from most locations in the park.  This is gold country and the Marshall Gold Discovery State Park was located approximately one block from the campground.  The resort had a small camp store with ice and drinks.  River rafting trips are popular from this resort.  The resort has a security gate and you will need the key code to enter the park.

Cell service was poor in the area.  Starlink functioned but, there were overhead obstructions in most camp spots.
