Washington, American Sunset RV Resort

Directions:

From Westport take N Montesano Street Northbound out of town.  After approximately one mile look for the resort on the left side of the highway.

American Sunset RV Resort is open all year with RV(full hookup) and tent(primitive) camp spots.  The resort has a pool, restrooms, showers, and a laundry.  Ice, firewood, and propane are available in the park.  There is also a camp store with the essentials.  Some camp roads are paved.  Parking pads are all crushed rock.  Most camp spots are shaded.  Cell service was good inside the park.  The park is in a good location for visiting the area due to all the local recreational opportunities.   50 Amp service and cable TV was available at the full hookup sites.  Extended stay spots are also available.  

Local Recreation:

WestPort Maritime Museum is within a short walking distance from the park.  Its really a very interesting museum with whale bones and handmade boats on display.  

The Westport Light Trail starts just a block from the park.  Bike ride or walk, its a great scenic trail.  One loop of the trail is about 6 miles.

Downtown Westport is actually a very interesting place to spend your day.  There are fish restaurants, donut shops, gift shops, Wine shops, and the marina.  Its a small quiet town and Campbase knows you will like it there.
