Description

Oregon, Arbes RV Park.  The park has easy access from downtown Coos Bay and Highway-1.

Directions:

From Highway-101 and Newmark Street in Coos Bay, go west on Newmarket Street.  After a mile or so, take a left onto Ocean Blvd.  Travel approximately a mile southeast on Ocean Blvd and the park entrance will be on the right side.

Arbes RV Park has approximately 30 RV only camp spots, no tenting.  RV's from 21 to 40 feet can be accommodated.  This is an in-town Campground that is primarily extended stay.  The park does not have direct access to recreation but is within a short driving distance from sand dunes, beaches, marinas, and the Mill Casino.  Camp spots are a bit tight with just enough room for one vehicle and your RV.  Full hookups are provided.  Markets, stores, and fuel are all located nearby.  The park does not have a web site or email address.  

This area does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hat, insect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location. 

Local Recreation(Within 10 miles):

The Mill Casino is located approximately one mile from the park.  It's a large casino with over 800 slot machines available.  Located right on Coos Bay, it's a great spot.  The smaller Three Rivers Casino is located just a mile west on Ocean Blvd. 

The Oregon Sand Dunes is located just 5 miles north of this RV park.  The dunes has beaches, horsebacking, and ATV access.
