Description

Colorado, Aspenglen Campground, Rocky Mountain National Park.  Aspenglen Campground is located near the Fall River Entrance in Colorados awe-inspiring Rocky Mountain National Park.  The park has lush valleys to craggy peaks stretching over 14,000 feet.  The campground is located at 8200 feet.  The address used here is a generic park address, the campground does not have an address.  However, the Campbase map provided here is accurate for the location of the campground.

Note: Many park roads close from October through Memorial Day.

Aspenglen Campground is located at 8200 ft on U.S. Highway 34, just west of the Fall River Entrance Station in a pine forest near Fall River, this campground has as 53 sites.  There is no lodging inside the park however, there are several campgrounds.  The campground is seasonal opening by reservation from May through September.  Summer Reservations are recommended and are available on a 6-month rolling window.  The campground is within walking distance from the Fall River Visitor Center.  The town of Estes Park is at the park's main eastern entrances, a short drive from the Campground.  Dining, shopping, restaurants, and fuel are available there.  Lake Estes offers boating, sailboarding and fishing.

Recreational vehicle and trailer length limit is 30 feet.

Free Wi-Fi access is available at Beaver Meadows and Kawuneeche visitor centers.

Cellular service is unreliable in most areas of the National Park.  Cell phone service is unavailable in Aspenglen Campground.
 
Food storage lockers are located throughout the campground.
 
Aspenglen Campground does not have a dump station, however, a dump station is available at Glacier Basin, Moraine Park or
Timber Creek campgrounds.
 
There are no laundry facilities in the park.
 
Shower facility are available at Moraine Park Campground and also outside the park.
 
The campground is in bear country, proper food storage is required.
 
There is a $20 entrance fee to enter the National Park.  The pass is good for one week.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK requires a Timed Entry Permit.
