Banning Stagecoach KOA is open all year with 100 Tent and RV camp spots.  Most spots have shade trees.  RV's up to 65 feet can be accommodated.  The campground has a pool, playground and a dog park.  Propane, ice, and firewood are available at the campground.  There is a small camp store that has basic food items and drinks.  It's a quiet location in the outskirts of the small town of Banning.  The campground is on Highway 243 at the gateway to the Idyllwild recreation area.  RV storage is available at the campground.  

 

The best times to visit this campground is during the fall, winter or spring.  Summer temperatures can be extreme.

 

Local Recreation:

 

There are numerous recreational activities near the campground.  Motorcycle road touring is popular on highway 243 running past the campground, through Idyllwild, and beyond.  The highway is well suited for motorcycling winding through bueatiful forested views.  

 

The Morongo Casino Resort and Spa is approximately six miles from the campground.  

 

Downtown Palm Springs is approximately 22 miles from the campground.  Palm Springs has casinos and activities in the downtown area.  Downtown is the best place for night life. 

 

Old downtown Banning is just one mile from the campground.  There are numerous restaurants in this area.
