Bishop RV Park at the Tri County Fairgrounds has 42 RV's camp spots available.  Tenting is also available.  Full hookup spots and restrooms with showers are available.  RV's up to approximately 40 feet can be accommodated.   All spots are back in.  Reservationa are available on the parks website and also first-come, first-served.  The park owner puts a RED road cone at the spots that have been reserved.  A spot without a cone is available for first-come, first-served.  Park roads and pads are crushed gravel.  Picnic tables and fire rings are not available in the RV park.  No ground fires are allowed.  The fairground also has an equestrian stable.  Its best to call ahead and verify availability.  Cell service is good for most carriers.

Note:  I visit many of these campgrounds and RV parks in order to give my readers first hand, detailed and accurate information.  To that end, I am providing the following.  During my visit to the park, I was bitten by a kissing bug on the leg.  I ended up on antibiotics.  Im not saying the park has a problem.  Im saying, be aware.   It can happen at almost any campground.

The campground does have BLACK-OUT-DATES when the campground is not available.  Some of the standade black-outs are:
May 21-30 Mule Days (Black Out Dates May 14-30)
June 13-17 CHSRA (Black Out Dates June 10-19)
July 12-16 (Black Out Dates July 10-17)
But, its best to call ahead and verify because, these things tend to change over time. 2020.

Erick Schats Bakery is within walking distance for most.  Don't miss it.  The closest food is Aaron Schats Roadhouse that has great BBQ.  The roadhouse and bakery are both within walking distance for most.
