Black Hills Trailside RV Resort is a smaller campground with about 50 RV and tent camp spots.  Camp cabins are also available.  The park has an E-bike rental and repair building.  Ice is also available at the office but there is not a camp store.  Camp roads are well maintained crushed rock.  Parking pads are also crushed rock.  Full hookups were available and it included cable TV.  Cell service was good.  Pets were allowed in the park.  The park did not have much shade.  Each site had a picnic table.  There was also a sheltered picnic area for group activities.

Local Recreation:

If you are peddeling the Mickelson Trail, this might be a good spot to stop and set up your tent.  They have a small bike shop available for minor repairs.  Rabbit Bicycle and Repair was located just a short distance from the campground.  I purchased a spare bicycle tire there.

The South Dakota State Railroad Museum is located in-town along the Mickelson Trail about a mile from the park.  Please see our pictures tab for a few photos of the trains.
