Description

Maine, Bradbury Mountain State park.  The park is open all year.

Directions:

The park is located on Route 9 about halfway between Portland and Lewiston-Auburn and a short drive west of Freeport.  From Freeport, take Pownal Road Northbound.  After a few miles the road name will change to Elmwood Road.  Continue on Elmwood to Highway-9 and take a right turn.

Bradbury Mountain State park has a campground with RV and tent sites.  35 Total Sitesare available.  35' is the Max Campsite or RV Site Length.  Camp spots are shaded.  Restrooms have showers for campers  Hiking Bradbury Mountion is the most popular activity from this campground.  This is dry camping.  RV hookups are not available. Group camp sites are available. 

Depending on the time of year, many areas in Maine may have ticks, bees, and mosquitos.  Due to the potential problems posed by these insects it's best to arrive prepared should these insects become a nuisance.  Campbase recommends screen enclosures, repellants, bug zappers, and mesh net hats.  Please click these links to see our recommended items.
