Description

Brannan Island State Recreational Area 
 
Directions:
 
From Interstate 5 take highway 12 toward the west.  After several miles, turn left onto highway 160.  The park is on Highway 160 a few miles south of the city of Rio Vista in Sacramento County.
 
Its located on the lower peninsular extension of Brannan Island, and is surrounded by the Sacramento River on the west, Three Mile Slough on the southeast, and Seven Mile Slough on the northeast.

Comment

Brannan Island State Recreational Area is open all year with 101 RV and tent sites.  The campground is located right on the Sacramento River.  This is a water recreation area.  The park has a boat launch and docks.

WiFi is not available.

The maximum RV length allowed is 36 feet.

Pets are not allowed on the beaches.

Group camp sites are available.
