From Interstate 5, take the Black Butte Lake exit at Orland, CA. Travel west on County Road 200/Newville Road for 14 miles. Turn left on Buckhorn Road and enter the Buckhorn Recreation area.

Buckhorn Campground has 93 RV and tent camp sites available. Pull through and electric spots are available. Flower viewing is popular in the area during the spring months. The campground is located on Black Butte Lake with fishing and boating activities available. Many camp spots have water access.
