Washington, Cape Disappointment State Park 

Directions:

Northbound, cross over the Columbia River on the Astoria-Megler Bridge and go left on Highway-101.  Continue for several miles on Highway-101 through the small town of Llwaco.  In Llwaco go left onto Highway-100.  Highway-100 goes for just a few miles and passes the parks entrance on the right side of the highway.

Cape Disappointment State Park has 137 standard campsites, 50 full-hookup sites, 18 partial-hookup sites with water and electricity, five primitive hiker/biker campsites first come first served, 14 yurts, three cabins, one dump station, eight restrooms (two ADA) and 14 showers (four ADA). Maximum site length is 45 feet (limited availability). Camping is available year round.  There is a military battery located in the park.  All camp spots have beach access and a few have a beach view.  You won't be disappointed by the beach or the views.  Please see our sunset picture under the "Photos" tab.
