Located 5 miles north of Moran Wyoning on highway 191 ( also called Johd D. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful to us and we are sure you will find it the same.

Colter Bay Campground has both full hook-up and primitive sites.  They are very nice sites in a natural setting that gives you that campground feeling.  There are no fire rings and only BBQ grills are allowed.  Each site has a picnic table.  The campground is paved but the campsites are crushed rock.  The campground is located just behind the general store, gift shop, laundry, and showers.  Less than 500 feet for most campers.  See the pictures tab for pictures of these items.  There is no TV or WiFi however, there is limited free WiFi at the John Coltere Ranch House restaurant when it's working.  Most digital cellular devices won't receive a connection.

The marina and boat launch ramp are within walking distance and a great place to visit.  There are kayaks and canoe rentals at the marina.  There is also a lake tour boat there.

Propane gas is available in front of the registration office.  See the pics.  A gas station is located at the entrance to the marina, less than a mile away.

The Grand Teton Lodge Company is an authorized concessioner for the Grand Teton National Park.  There are six campgrounds in the park, they are:  Colter Bay, Gros Ventre, Headwaters, Jenny Lake, Lizard Creek, Signal Mountain.

Colter Bay Village and lodge are located near the campground along with the lake and marina.

Check-out at 11:00.  Check-in at 2:00

The views and photographic opportunities from this location are excellent.  It's a photographers paradise.  You almost can't take a bad picture.
