Crazy Horse Campground is open all year with 600 RV and tent camp spots.  It's actually quite a fun location to camp.  It's located just half a mile from London Bridge and Downtown Lake Havasu City.  So there's lots to do nearby.  The campground has one of the longest and widest beaches in the area so there's lots of space for boats and boaters.  There is also a small marina should you want to leave your boat in a slip during your stay.  The campground has all the essentials including a small market, ice, restrooms, and a laundry.  Big rigs up to approximately 45 feet can be accommodated with some spots being larger.  Many of the camp spots are right on the beach with water access.  Extended stay and monthly rates are also available.  Cellular service from the campground is good.  Reservations are recommended, call the numbers provided here for reservations.  Camp spots do not have fire rings.

Local Recreation:

The evening bingo in the recreation center is fantastic.  I had a ton of fun.  Really was the highlight of my trip.  Everyone was friendly and having a good time.

London Bridge is just half a mile from the campground and it's a great spot for photography.  There are also restaurants and shops located at the bridge.

London Bridge Beach is popular during the summer months.  Boats usually congregate on the beach and there is always something to do.

Bike trail.  The city of Havasu has extensive bike trails.  One of the trails passes the front of the campground and circles the island.  Other trails run parallel to Highway-95.  The trails are well maintained.  They look wonderful.  Please see the photos tab for a picture of the trail.

Boating and fishing is popular from the campground.  It's a boaters paradise with boating beaches available all along the lake.  The lake is approximately 25 miles long with approximately 100 miles of shoreline.

Horseshoe tournaments appear to be very popular in the campground.  The players meet every morning and throw shoes for hours.  Please see the photos tab for a picture.
