Comment

Dosewallips State Park is open all year with 140 RV and tent camp spots available.  Cabins are also available in the park.  The campground has Dosewallip River access and Hood Canal access.  Five miles of shoreline border the park.  Most camp spots are large and well shaded.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated.  Some services are available just a few miles from the campground in the small town of Brennon.  Big rigs and RV’s can be accommodated in Dosewallips making it better suited for larger vehicles than the national park.  Many of the national national parks campgrounds can not accommodate the larger vehicles and are dry camping.  A very nice well designed campground with restrooms, showers, Ice, and firewood available.  RV Camp spots are large with full hookups.  Most spots have shade.  It’s a good campground choice if you are visiting the area.

Local Recreation:

The park is located on the Hood Canal with fishing, birding, and water activities.  Clam digging and hiking are also popular from this location.

Dosewallips is just East of the Olympic National Park(ONP).  Explorations into ONP are popular from this campground.
