Description

Oregon, Driftwood RV Park.  The park has easy big rig assess and is located in the harbor area.

Directions:

On the Chetco River Bridge, go southbound on Highway-101.  After just one block, take a right onto Lower Harbor Road.  Follow Lower Harbor Road around for just under one mile and the parks entrance will be on the left side.

Driftwood RV Park is open all year with approximately 100 RV only camp spots.  This is an upscale RV park that is well maintained.  Camp roads are paved so there is not the usual campground dust.  The park does not have direct beach access however, the beach and marina are within a short walking distance.  Restaurants, pizza, a bar/grill, and coffee shops can be found in the marina area.  Campbase estimates that big rigs to approximately 50 feet can be accommodated in some spots. 

This campground does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hat, insect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location.
