Description

Utah, Factory Butte Recreation Area.  The recreation area is located in a desert environment without shade trees or water.

Directions:

From the town of Hanksville, Utah, head west on Highway 24.  Factory Butte will be on the right side in approximately 15 miles.

Factory Butte Recreation Area is BLM land.  It's a 2600 acre off-road recreation area well suited for off-roading.   Overnighting is allowed in designated areas. There are no services or facilities available.  There are several areas that are flat and level for RV parking.  The closest services are in Hanksville.  Pack it in, pack it out.  Trash receptacles are not available.  Click the link provided here for details.  Use caution, some areas in the park may be environmentally sensitive.  Click here for more Factory Butte details.
