Directions:

In Tucson, on Interstate-10, take East Speedway Blvd. And go east bound.  After several miles, go right onto N. Pantano Road.  In a few blocks, take a right into the resort at the resort sign. 

The Campbase map provided here is accurate for the location of the campground.

FAR HORIZONS TUCSON VILLAGE RV RESORT is open all year with 514 RV camp spots.  This is an age restricted park, 55+.  The park is primarily extended stay mobile homes however, daily RV sites are available.  Cottages are also available.  This is big city camping right in the middle of Tucson.  The resort is well maintained.  The restroom facilities are the best Campbase has ever seen(please see the pictures tab).  Most services are available near the resort.  Full hookups and pull through RV spots are available.  Each spot has a picnic table but, no fire rings.  Reservations are available on-lines at the resorts web page provided here.  Big rigs to approximately 50 feet can be accommodated.
 
Local Recreation:
 
The Pima Air and Space Museum is one of those must-see museums.  It's located at 6000 E. Valencia Blve. Tucson.  (520) 574-0462.  Www.pimaair.org.   The Pima Air and Space Museum also offers exclusive bus tours of the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARG), also known as the "Boneyard." The AMAGR is located adjacent to the Museum.  Bus tours of the facility are available on a "first come first serve" basis.  The tour bus boards at the Museum entrance.
 
The Loop bike trail passes near the Resort and is a good way to get around by bike.  It's a bike and walk trail.  Here is a link to The Loop.
 
Old Tuscon is an old west town where movies are made.  There is an old town street with restaurants and shops.  There are Can Can shows, gunfights, western cultural exhibits and more.  Www.oldtucson.com.  (520) 883-0100.  201 S Kinney Rd. Tucson, AZ  85735.
