Description

Utah, Green River State Park.  The park has easy access from Interstate-70.

Directions:

Eastbound on Interstate-70 approaching the small town of Green River, take the W. Main Street exit (also called Business loop 70).  Go left onto Main Street.  Follow Main street for approximately one mile.  Take a right turn onto Green River BLVD.  Travel southbound for about two blocks and the parks entrance will be on the left side.

Green River State Park is open all year with 40 RV and tent camp spots.  Big rigs up to approximately 35 feet can be accommodated.  Most camp spots have large shade trees.  Electric and water hookups sites are available.  Sewer hookups are not available however there is a dump station.  The park is in a good central location for accessing recreational activities in the area.  Please see our list below.  The golf course and Green River are adjacent to the park.  Cellular service is good for most carriers in this area.  Pets are allowed in the park.  The park is on Green River with direct river access.

Local Recreation:

The John Wesley Powell Museum is located across the highway from the KOA.

The Green River Golf Course is within walking distsnce from the park.

Mountain biking is popular in this area with numerous trails available.  

The park has a launch ramp and direct access to Green River.  Rafting and fishing are popular on Green River.
