Guajome County Park is open all year with a cabin, RV, and tent camp spots.  Just one cabin and 33 total camp spots are available.  Partial RV hookups and a dump station are available.  The park has two fishing ponds.  Its located just 8 miles from beaches and the ocean.  This is a rural area so there are services available in the area near the campground.  Besides fishing, Bicycling and horsebacking are popular in the park. Most camp spots have shade.  Each has a fire ring and picnic table. Camp roads and pads are all paved.  Campbase estimates that RV’s up to approximately 45 feet can be accommodated in some spots.

Local Recreation:

Fishing in the parks two large ponds is popular.  Private boats are not allowed.

Horseback trails are available.  Campbase did not see any corrals.

Located approximately 8 miles west of the park is historic downtown Oceanside.  The area has numerous restaurants, shops and theaters.  There is also a boardwalk and pier.  It’s quite a bit of fun actually.
