Arizona, Hilltop Campground

Direction:

Access is by paved road. From the Courthouse Plaza go east on Gurley Street. Turn east onto Highway 69. Go 4 miles to the turnoff to Walker (Forest Road 197). Follow this road for approximately 3 miles to the campground sign. Turn left onto this access road; the campground is less than 0.5 mile from Walker Road. 
 

Comment

Located in the Lynx Lake Recreation Area.  Hilltop campground has 38 RV and Tent camp spots located in the ponderosa pine forest about 0.5 mile directly south of Lynx Lake. The campsites provided are generally large enough to accommodate most recreational vehicles under 40 feet.  Campground road and spurs are paved.
 
This campground was closed for the season during the Campbase visit.  Open season is April through October.
 
There are no services available at the campground.
 
Reservations are first come, first served.
 
No showers, no dump station, no electric.
