Description

Oregon, Hoover Campground, Willamette National Forest rests on the shores of the sparkling Detroit Lake.

Direction:

Drive 2 miles east of Detroit on Highway 22. Turn onto Blowout Road #10, thengo 0.75 miles west to the Hoover Group Site.

Oregon, Hoover Campground rests on the shores of the sparkling Detroit Lake. The area is covered with towering trees, making for secluded, peaceful camping spots. Visitors enjoy fishing, boating on the lake, and hiking on the Stahlman Point Trail.  The largest spots in the campground are 45 feet.  The website indicates RV's up to 30 feet can be accommodated.  Some pull through camp spots are available.  Reservations and first come, first served camp spots are available.  The campground is seasional being open from May through September.
