Washington, Howard Miller Steelhead Park

Directions:

Take Exit 230 to Hwy 20 off I-5.   Head East on Highway-20 for approximately 37 miles to Rockport.  Nearing Rockport, take a right onto State Route 530.  Then within approximately one block take a right into the campground.

Howard Miller Steelhead Park has Skagit River direct access with a launch ramp and restrooms.  The park includes 39 campsites with electrical and water hook ups.  Sewer connections are not available however, there is a dump station in the park.  The park also has tent sites, picnic shelters, and a restrooms.  This is a well maintained park with level sites.  The Skagit River runs directly past the campground.  This park is approximately 25 miles outside the Cascades National Park making it a good camping option should the national park be full.  It was raining during the Campbase visit.  It rains often in Washington so bring your rain gear.
